So, fair! (and foul a day I have not seen, as Macbeth almost says.*)
Miss Read: the Berlin art book fair takes place at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin, on 3, 4 and 5th May 2019.
Miss Read is: “dedicated to building community and creating a public meeting place for discourse around artists’ books, conceptual publications and publishing as practice.”
I’ll be there, on Sunday 5th May at 4:30pm, giving a talk as part of their lecture programme, on reading sharks and sharks that read. Don’t miss!
Followed by: Offprint, art publishing fair, at Tate Modern, weekend of 17, 18, 19thMay 2019, which presents “an exceptional selection of 200 avant-garde international publishers.”
If you’re in town on the Saturday evening (18th May), you can catch me, in the Clore Studio, talking for thirty minutes about sharks in loops in sharks in books. I’m in the late-ish slot, at 8pm, but on the plus side, it’s free.
*yes, it’s actually, “So foul and fair a day I have not seen.”
